Submission Policies

General

Papers submitted to Science Frontiers Publishing “SFP” must contain original materials. The submitted article must neither be published before nor be considered for peer-reviewed publication medium elsewhere. Any submitted articles that necessarily contain parts of previously published materials are expected to clearly reference original citations.

Journal submissions must have to be written in readable English language and include a 3-25 words title that accurately highlights the core content of the work; 100-350 words abstract; and a list of 3-10 accurate keywords to ensure correct indexing and help visibility of article to interested groups.

 SFP journals invite the following forms of contributions:

  • Full-length original research papers (less than or equal to 15 journal pages)
  • Mini-review articles (less than or equal to 15 journal pages)
  • Rapid Communication (less than or equal to 5 journal pages)

SFP Book Proposals:

Book proposals have to be sent to SFP executive office. The decision of proposal will be communicated to the contributing author(s) in five business days including instructions of work preparation and submission.

Freelance Publications:

Articles proposal will be subjected to initial review for suitability and originality. there is no peer-review procedure, and articles will bind to same SFP submission policies. Once accepted, the full article will be published on Science Frontiers Publishing Blog featuring the author’s photo and a short bio.

Author rights

Copyright: SFP requests a non-exclusive copyright allowing the production of the final paper layout at the SFP’s website and given open access to the public under the Creative Commons license which permits use, distribution, and reproduction the full text of articles in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited. Authors retain conclusive copyright with no restrictions. The other materials (texts, images, graphical elements presented on the publishing website) are protected by copyright. In the case of the re-use of previously published articles/parts of articles, it is author(s) sole responsibility to provide proper citation and, for reproduced materials, a written acceptance from the said author(s) or the publishing house.

Reviewers:  Corresponding Author may suggest a list of names of potential reviewers (work addresses, emails) that the editor may / may not select for external peer review. Also, Corresponding Author may send a list of reviewers to be excluded from peer review considerations due to a possible conflict of interests.

Reprints: After the publication, the contributing authors will receive an e-mail including the e-file attachment and the open access link of the final form of the paper. SFP will process paper-reprints of the published article upon demand and will charge the requesting author for handling and shipping.

Science Frontiers Publishing Responsibilities to Authors 

SFP is committed to high standard publication through a serious and fair peer-review and ethical policies. Responsible editors have zero tolerance for any violations of professional ethical codes, such as plagiarism, dishonest use of data or bogus claims of authorship. SFP is strictly following the international Code of Conduct of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the COPE Flowcharts for resolving cases of misconduct, COPE’s Code of Conduct for Journal Publishers, COPE’s Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors and COPE’s Retraction Guidelines for scholarly principles.

Authors are considered to be aware of a possible Conflict of Interest related to the published work. Authors retain sole responsibility for the accuracy of their published materials, and declare any conflicts of interests, if any, by an appropriate statement in the acknowledgments section.
