The Scope of Journal
The recent advances in biotechnology allowed several techniques to maximize the eco-friendly use of pest-fighting abilities of natural microbes. Hence, biological pesticides are gradually replacing the use of conventional chemicals that pose a detrimental impact on the environment and water quality.
The Journal of Microbial Genetics & Pest Control publishes peer-reviewed original research findings that include the development and/or the utilization of genetic engineered environmental microbes to produce biological pesticides. The journal welcomes reports of novel designs and methods which explain the detailed applications of genetically-modified microorganisms to maintain the production of pest-fighting biological compounds. Laboratory or field experimentations on biological pesticides may include data on their chemical /biological identification, detection, toxicological and eco-toxicological evaluation, and host range testing including risk assessment to human health and the environment.
The Journal of Microbial Genetics & Pest Control is an open access, peer-reviewed journal that will accept full-length research articles, rapid communications, and mini review/review articles.
Accepted articles at the Journal of Microbial Genetics & Pest Control will be published free of charge.
