The Scope of Journal
Tons of toxic substances find its way to contaminate water bodies such as lakes, rivers, oceans, and groundwater. Water pollutants include industrial wastes, garbage dumping, oil spill, pesticides, herbicides, harmful algae blooms and microbes from sewage leaks. Water pollutants pose considerable destruction to aquatic ecosystem and serious damages for aquatic biodiversity and human health.
The Journal of Aquatic Pollution is an open access, peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research findings and scientific reports detecting and identifying the water pollutants in their various chemical or biological forms (i.e. macro, micro, or nanoparticles): dissolved, suspended or deposited. Research of novel applications of valid design and methods used to trace the ecological and biological fate and the bioavailability of water-borne contaminants, utilizing animal models and molecular approaches are most welcome to be presented in this Journal. The journal covers data from many interested fields including environmental toxicology, biotechnology, chemistry, biology, and pharmacology.
The Journal publishes full-length research articles, rapid communications and mini review/review articles FREE of charges.
