The Scope of the Journal

The Journal of Bioenergy is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that accepts original papers aimed to use ecologically sustainable applications to produce energy from biological sources.

The journal publishes papers in a wide range of topics intertwining research in molecular biology, biochemistry, microbiology and genetic engineering to support innovation in the efficient production of usable sources of energy from biomass, biological waste and agricultural by-products.

The Journal of Bioenergy will accept findings that include knowledge of immediate importance to investigators with enough clarity, soundness, and novelty of using environmentally sustainable methods and applications.

The Journal publishes full-length research articles, rapid communications, and mini review/review articles.

The Journal of Bioenergy is an open access, peer-reviewed journal that publishes original works FREE of charge.
