JOURNAL OF MARINE TOXICOLOGY (JMT)

Scope of the Journal

Marine toxins include all harmful substances that contaminate the marine environment from industrial activities, or these produced and derived naturally from harmful marine flora or fauna. Marine toxins have enormous distressing effects on marine ecosystems, public health, and seafood safety.

The Journal of Marine Toxicology publishes research findings aimed to increase our understanding of the ecological and health impact of marine toxins on human and ecosystems. The journal welcomes pharmacological and toxicological studies using valid design and methods to examine the cellular and molecular basis of toxicity, novel applications for laboratory & field identification, monitoring and detection of toxicants, and distribution, bioaccumulation and metabolism of toxicants throughout the food chain.

The Journal of Marine Toxicology is an open access, peer-reviewed journal that publishes full-length research articles, rapid communications and mini review/review articles FREE of charges.
