The scope of Journal
The alternative therapy uses diverse treatment practices, applications, and products that are not necessarily standard to conventional medical practice. Fewer alternative therapy practices that proven safe and effective were integrated with standard medical practices, referred to as “complementary” medicine, which found to enhance the overall therapeutic outcome. Although many alternative approaches still greatly contested, people are engaged with, regardless of sound scientific basis or rigorous risk assessment on human and environment health.
The Journal of Alternative Therapies aimed to publish research findings that use valid designs and methods to explore and scientifically verify the potential efficacy of current alternative approaches in medicine including practices, applications, and products. The journal will present biomedical research utilizing in vitro and in vivo modeling, molecular biology and pharmacological tools to establish efficacy results from randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled studies. The Journal also welcomes studies that assess the adverse effects of alternative therapies that are commonly served.
The Journal of Alternative Therapies is an open access, peer-reviewed journal that publishes full-length research articles, rapid communications, and mini review/review articles FREE of charges.
