The Scope of Journal
Hepatitis is a major public health problem throughout the world affecting several hundreds of millions of people and drains substantial healthcare cost in both developing and developed nations. Although, viral hepatitis is the most recognized for its considerable morbidity and mortality in the human population, non-viral hepatitis (toxic or autoimmune) may lead to similar symptoms of liver cirrhosis, liver cancer, and liver failure. A complex combination of environmental, pathogenic and host genetic factors plays a role in determining both susceptibilities to hepatitis virus and the course of the infection.
The Hepatitis Letters is an open access journal for the speedy publishing of peer-reviewed research findings and provides easy access to quality research in all related aspects of different hepatitis symptoms and treatments caused by viral hepatitis and non-viral hepatitis. The journal invites research aimed to increase understanding of disease epidemiology, prevention, and pathophysiology including novel applications of early diagnosis, screening, treatments, and prognosis.
The Hepatitis Letters accepts findings that include knowledge of immediate importance to investigators interested in hepatitis research development with soundness and novelty of used methods and applications.
The Journal accepts full-length research articles, rapid communications, correspondences and mini review/review articles.
Hepatitis Letters is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes original works FREE of charge.
